If we want digital sovereignty in EU yet we continue buying say US software licenses, that means we want somebody to "do that sovereignty" for us in his/her free time, competing with full-time programmers employed by US companies. 1/2
2/2 That would be IMHO very strange strategy.
Better one would be to start with rerouting of majority of "office spending" into @LibreOffice, @Nextclouders and related projects and companies.
